What Milly Wore: Fancy Florals

Hello one and all :)
I've managed to make a small photography set up in my room
So I can take outfit pictures before work!
Yes these photos were taken at 6:30am
This is probably the most organised I have been ever!
With my new job and all, I've been dressing a bit smarter
and I love it!
Earlier this week I wore this outfit which consists of:

Floral / Daffodil white yellow and green dress: Tu (sainsburys)
In the sale, plus and extra 25% off everything
so it ended up being under a tenner!
I bought LOADS of clothes from Asda and Sainsburys
so expect to see more on the blog!

Khaki Catwalk Suede Tote Bag: Jaeger London RRP £499
I love this bag so so so much.
It feels really expensive and is a great size.
and it was the biggest bargain ever!
It was reduced to £60 on BrandAlley ( my fave designer outlet)
and I had a £50 voucher (from a tesco points exchange thing)
So all I paid was £15.95 including postage!!!
It came with the original Jaeger price label on it as well,
my mum nearly had a heart attack!

Here's a slightly better picture of the bag -

Mickey Mouse Padlock Necklace: Disney Couture

Plain Black Cardi: New Look

Plain Black leggings: Primarni

Black long top: H&M
(worn underneath, so I could wear the tu dress rolled up as a top)

Lightwieght Green Parks: ASOS (flash sale £15 ish)

Leopard / Dalmation Pony Skin Boots: Kimchi Blue via Urban Outfitters
Still my favourite booties,
I get nice comments every time I wear them
and they're really really comfy.

I didn't manage to take any more work outfit pictures this week
but I'll deffo be doing one or two next week!

What do you guys wear to work?
Do you get to wear what you like within reason?

Leave any comments below,
I love reading them :)

What Milly Wore: Heart Shaped Pocket

Hey Guys and Gals
I'm currently tres tres bust starting a new job and all that
so I'm trying really hard not to neglect my blogging responsibilities!
So Here's an outfit I wore last week:

Bone Shaped Hair Clip: Kreepsville 666

Navajo Waterfall Tapestry Jacket: River Island, last year £40 ish
I've worn this jacket on the blog before,
it's a great extra layer, and I like that its a bit different
I've never seen anyone in anything similar.

Navy White & Tan Spotty Bag: River Island 2-3 years ago

Cream Treasure Chest Necklace: Disney Couture

Eiffel Tower Embroidered T-shirt: Topshop 1-2 years ago

White & Navy Cardigan: Topshop Sale £12 3-4 years ago

Black Leggings: Primarni

Mushroom Coloured Leather Boots: Office £90
These are another pair of my trusty office boots
very comfy, I love the way they look
and made from super soft leather :)

Denim Pencil Skirt: ASOS 4-5 years ago
I couldn't believe I could get this skirt on,
I have lost a bit of weight recently but not that much, maybe it's just stretchy!?
I just love the heart shaped pockets on this skirt
It makes an otherwise simple skirt very cute!

Once again I'm trying to wear items I've had for ages
and basically get my wear out of what I already own!

Lust After: Birthday Wishlist

Hey guys,
It's not long untill my 23rd birthday (eeep getting older)
and friends and family have asked for ideas of the kind of thing I would like
So Here is my birthday wishlist:

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 rings necklace :  Disney Couture
£39.00 via Zentosa

I pretty much love anything disney couture,
so it doesn't have to be this specific necklace,
I love all of the collections including Alice in Wonderland,
Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, Cinderella
and their new collab with Mawi!

The two best sites for Disney Couture I have found are

You know I love a bargain so its even better if its in the sale,
and always look for a discount or free shipping code
by looking at the websites facebook pages and general voucher sites!

Beetle Necklace: £14.00
Both By Galibardy

I put something Galibardy on my list every year
I think all of there designs are so inventive and quirky,
and they're all really good quality brass so will not bend or break!
I like almost everything they sell!

Chic on a Shoe String
&
How to make Jewellery (with Tatty Devine)

(both available via Amazon etc)

I love to get crafty
and although I'm not a huge reader both of these books caught my eye
They would both be great for flicking through  for a project on a rainy day

TeaCup Charm: Pandora

I have a Pandora Bracelet and a Chamilia Bracelet
and I would really love any addition to my charm collection :)
Just stick with plain silver and you cant go wrong!
Anything cupcake, tea, heart, lightning bolt, cute, anchor, deer, bird,
related would be right up my street!

Fairytale Mug £5.00 Paperchase

Paperchase it one of my favourite shops of all time!
I just wish there was one nearer :(
I love the illustrations on this mug they are so cute
but I also like their stickers, noodle bowls, stationary EVERYTHING

Brown Owl Feather Print Snood £13.00
Cupcake Beanie £13.00

I'm still loving digital, aztec, and illustrated prints so anything like that
on a bag scarf etc would be amazing!
and I love a good comedy hat :p

This probably look really boring but I need another one or two of these
for jewellery storage and just never get round to buying it
so it would be a great practical present!

Topshop is my favourite place to shop
and the dalmation print pumps are just gorgeous (I'd need a size 5) :)

Seriously though, some people might think vouchers are a let down
but I would LOVE vouchers for anywhere like Topshop, River Island or New Look

If you need any more inspiration just look at my blog or tumblr!

Think fairisle, navajo, digital, leather, illustrated, typography
galaxy, animal print, studded, baroque, kitsch, tacky,
skulls, deers, antlers, birds!

I'd love: socks, picture frames, bags, jewellery, trinket/make-up boxes
scarfs, pyjamas, homewares!

pphewww,
that's it,
hope that's helped you dear F&F of mine
and readers I hope it's been interesting for you to read too!

200th post! What Milly Wore: Velvet Undergound

Hi guys,
Welcome to my 200th post! WOOT
It's great to reach another landmark,
I didn't really celebrate my last blog birthday
So I'll so a little happy dance about this instead!

Anyway, here is what I wore today :)

Bowler Hat: Accessorize sale around £9.00 (last winter)

I havnt worn this hat much,
but I do really like it,
especially now my hair is a bit longer,
it looks much better with hair peeking out of the front!

Pirate Gun Necklace: Disney Couture (pirates of the Caribbean collection)

This is a great small necklace for everyday wear
I cant get enough of disney couture.
Cant remember how much it was but I'm pretty sure it was in the sale!

Velvet & Lace Dress: Urban Oufitters £22  reduced from £45 (January sale)

I'd forgotten about this dress,
when it put it on this morning it still had it's tags on.
It's greating finding brand new things you already own when you don't have any money!
It was great for this indecisive weather as it is quite warm
Black Leggings: Primark £3

As always the leggings are from primark :)

Hope you guys have a great weekend,
and I'll see you all again next week!

What Milly Wore: Topshop Tea Dress

Hi Guys,
Here is what I wore a few days ago :)

Black Cardigan: Topshop
Quite thin, very versatile, goes with anything!

Polka Dot Brown Tea Dress: Topshop (via the charity shop) £4.50
I spied this dress in the charity shop I volunteer in
and before I looked at the labels I thought it was topshop!
well it was, and I bought it,
Its a little on the small side in the boob department as its a 12
but I love it none the less.

Fairest of Them All Necklace: Disney Couture (gift from the boy a few years ago)
One of my fave necklaces,
very easy to wear, and has sentimental value
I got it for valentines day at least 3 or 4 years ago :)

Black Leggings: Primark £3
Seriously the best leggings ever
very high waisted and never fall down
I've been back and bought 2 more pairs since!

Tan Loafers: Office £50 ish
I wear these all the time, literally my go to shoes,
kinda expensive but so comfy and good quality leather

Leopard Print Bag: River Island (sale last year) £15
I love this bag,
I always feel a bit posh when I'm carrying it
I don't know why, it just looks expensive even though it wasn't

Lipstick: Either Mac Neon Orange, or Mac Morange
I wear them both regularly and they pretty much look the same!

What's your best charity shop bargain??

What Milly Wore: It's a Hair Affair!

Good evening chickadees
This is what I wore... erm a few days ago!

Spotty Dress: New Look £15
Black Cardigan: Topshop
Black Leggings: New Look
Name Necklace: Tatty Devine
Cat Ballet Pumps: Topshop

Upon taking the above what Milly wore picture earlier this week
I realised, I have crap hair!
TBH Id let it go a bit, hadn't dyed it or had it cut in ages
let alone trying to style it!

So I got my hair cut at a local salon
and then me and my sister got to dying it last night and I LUFF it!

(apologies for the lack of make-up trying to give my sensitive skin a rest!)

Although its been asymmetric for a while, with a little undercut going on
It had grown out, and really didn't look like anything proper!
So I asked the girl to shave the one side closer so it would take longer to grow back!
and when I dyed it, after the rebleaching / pinking and rootidge fixing
I put some blue on my wee shaved bit!
I likey!

It means I can wear it all across like this for funky days
or all down to cover my little secret for work!

Next I'm thinking a leopard print bit
yes??

Anyway, this is what I wore today

Ramskull Vest: Allsaints
Skull Necklace: Disney Couture
Skinny Jeans: New Look
Tattoo Ballet Pumps: Underground
Wang a like bag: Ebay
Sunglasses: Rayban

What do you think of my hair
too extreme?
do I look like an emo boy?
or do you like it?

Would you guys be interested in seeing how I dye it?

Hope you all have a fab weekend!

I had a birthday... and now I'm old!

well, it has been a busy long weekend!
On Saturday evening I had my 21st birthday party,
Involving pizza, films and a sleep over!
I wore:
Black and white tutu dress: Topshop (in the summer)
Black cardigan with sparkly thread: Topshop (this season)
Skull Necklace: Jessica Kagan Cushman (Its amazing, expensive but worth it)
Black suede studded boots: River Island
Trusty Black Leggings!

There was much yummy cake involved,
My mum ordered these cupcakes from a lady,
Aren't they gorgeous

On my actual birthday I had 2 lectures
It was super cold so I wore my Leopard Fur Coat from Topshop last year

Underneath I wore:

Pink Leopard Cardigan: Warehouse
Grey T-shirt Dress (underneath): H&M
Multi-coloured wolf dress: Motel @ Topshop
Looking Glass Pendant: Disney Couture
Fluffy White Socks: Primark
Black Suede fur lined boots: Office
Trust Black Leggings!

From my mum and sister I received a lovely charm bracelet
The original one they got me was by truth, but it was too big
so i swapped it for one by Chamilia,
Both a similar concept, where you slide silver bead charms onto a snake chain!

They gave me the deer charm, and the 21 key charm,
and with my birthday money from people at work and relatives I bought
the Cinderella shoe, apple and crown!
Cant wait to collect some more!

I also got this Angel Jackson bag from my mum,
we got it ages ago and put it away
Its so nice to be able to look at it and feel it and use it!
I neeeed more angel jackson bags

Off my lovely boyfriend I got this fab LTD watch
Its limited edition of 100
Its not the one I asked for,
but I really don't mind at all!
Its so funky,
and its cool that its got a digital display it means I cant get the time wrong!!

And from my lovely besty Tashy,
She drew me
ISNT IT AMAZING!
she is uber talented
I luff luff luff it, she printed it A3 and framed it so I can put it on my wall!

YAY,
so that was my birthday,
regular blogging shall now resume!
