New Year: Things I Love

Why hello there,

nice to see you again!

Please excuse my lack of bloggingness,

Christmas retail, means not a lot of free time!

So I thought I'd do a little catch up kind of 'Things I Love' post for you :)

I'm loving:

Orange Hair -
Dyed my hair a lovely shade of copper/orange
and I love it, just wish it was as gorgeous and thick as this girls!

Neutral Eye-Make-Up -
Working a lot means I am really appreciating a 15 minute make-up routine,
including a neutral eye, not as nice as this one though!

Magnetic & Glitter Nail Varnish -
I got loads of magnetic nail varnish for Christmas and I'm loving experimenting with it,
also cant get enough of my Deborah Lippmann glitter polishes!

Pyjamas -
Snuggly Pyjamas ftw :) Got some gorgeous M&S ones.

Christmas Socks -
Whether it's just around the house or peeking over the top of my boots
I'm living in patterned Christmas socks right now.

Biker Boots -
I'm Milly and I'm addicted to biker boots
real leather of course and the more studs  the better

Clashing Prints -
there are so many different kinds of prints I love right now,
galaxy,  fairisle, aztec, navajo, floral, digital, graphic etc
and there is nothing I love more than wearing them all at once!

Rucksacks/Backpacks -
I got the ahmahzing Lazy Oaf Space rucksack for Christmas
and it seems to just go with everything!
I also appreciate that it doesn't fall off your shoulders all the time.

Diet Coke -
I love it, nuff said!

Clinique Chubby Sticks -
Part of my afore mentioned quick make-up look are my clinique chubby sticks,
I have 4 and they add a great pop of hydrating colour

Vintage Scarves -
Whether its tied to my bag, worn as a belt or just around my neck
I love to add a vintage scarf to my outfit, especially chain print ones.

Aztec Duffle Coat -
EEEPP I got this urban outfitters printed blanket duffle coat for Christmas
and I am never taking it off EVER

Snoods -
Chunky knitted snoods wrapped round tonnes of times
make me happy.

Skull Necklaces -
I was also lucky enough to get 2 different skull necklaces for Christmas
and I love wearing them with otherwise demure outfits ;)

Sleeping ZzZzZz -
I love to snooze, nap sleep etc
especially in the middle of the day with a cat by my side!

Lust After: Topshop Sale Wishlist

I love this American flag onesie, but it's a pity they don't do it in bigger sizes

Leopard Print Bumbag by Ashish £40

I love leopard print, topshop, Ashish and bumbags  so all of them in one is ace!

 Leopard Print Rucksack by Ashish £90

This backpack is also amazing, it's so 90's

 Marvels Snake Print Chelsea Boots Navy £36

Chelsea boots are great but you hardly every find any in navy, so these are fab

I also love them in this burgundy colour too, and the snake print is a bonus

 Vecra 3 Nude Studded Slippers £28

I love my black version of these, but in nude with gold studs they look gorgeous.

Skeleton Glow Sweatshirt £28

This looks incredible but the reviews are not so good!?

I still think it's worth a try though.

Konfetti Glitter Lace-up Shoes £60

These multicoloured glitter oxford shoes look awesome *drools*

What Milly Wore: Birthday Cape

Hello readers,

I'm trying to get into the swing of posting more regularly again, 

so I thought I would start with a What Milly Wore post!

Today was my Birthday! Hazzzaaahhh I'm now 23 which feels very old!

I'll do a post on the lovely gifts I've been given next week!

I Wore:

Cream Lacey Frilly Dress: Pussycat London Via HOF a couple of years ago £6 ish

I've worn this dress on the blog before last year here, I love the girly feel of it

I also own the same dress in black but don't seem to wear it half as much!

Brown Red Green Aztec Print Blanket Cape: Topshop last winter

I own this in grey too (I'm sensing a theme here!)

I've never worn either of them out of the house before tbh

but with a belt it seems to make them look much more coat like!

Tan Plaited Leather Belt: Next Sale in the summer

Brown Studded Metallic Leather Fringe Pouch Bag: River Island sale last winter

Once again, never been used before

but I'm making an effort to use what I already own!

With this tasselled bag and the cape I started to feel a bit robin hood esque.

Speckled Knitted Brown Patterned Boot Socks: Pringle via TKmaxx £5.99

These socks are amazeballs,

not only are they kinda fairisle patterned 

but they are also multicoloured speckled/ flecked in the wool!

Brown Shearling Biker Boots (rolled down): River Island Last Year £74.99

I own these in brown and black and wear both pairs all the time

stylish practical and comfy!

Lust After: Busy Busy Bee!

My my, I've been a busy bee recently!

I've just gone back to uni,

after working full time all summer,

I managed to drag my bum to a Radley show in Bristol

and a Clarks training day in Solihull (both for work)

and then starting back at big school for my 3rd year

all without freaking out

well done me!

I'm genuinely super proud of my self

It would be tonnes easier to stay at home and be a hermit

but I'm not

hurrah for me!

anyway less of the self praise!

I've bought so many nice new things

and worn some really nice outfits

and managed to take a total of 0 pictures

FAIL

oh well, until I get back into the swing of things

Lust After / New Arrival: Wrap Up Warm

Hey Guys & Dolls

Once again I am lusting after many items at the moment

here are just a few:

Galaxy Print Bags: Peter Paulotti for Kipling!

I cannot wait for these bags to come out,

I'm deffo going to be purchasing one, which shape I'm not sure

I can never resist galaxy print!

They should be out on the 17th this month

so not too long to wait

Im assuming they will be around the £80 mark!

Socks!

I love a bit of fairisle and when I saw these on topshop.com I was like YUM

They look so pretty and warm,

 perfect with some worker boots and leggings

£3.99 a pair Topshop

This week Ashish's collab with topshop arrived

and I just love this Parisian inspired t-shirt

Chunky Reindeer Coatigan: Zara £59.99

It just looks so warm and cozy

I cannot get enough of patterned knits!

I'm also after some brown / tan chelsea boots

these are from River Island for £29.99 which is a bargain if you ask me!

I actually prefer a very similar pair from office but at twice the price they may have to wait!

I love the Barbour jacket look, but definitely don't want to pay the price

so this quilted hunter jacker from River Island is just the job for £39.99

I've been after a jacket like this for such a long time

and wouldn't have bought it, if I hadn't already bought two navy blue coats recently.

and here is what I've been Buying:

I compromised and bought this khaki barbour style jacket, also £39.99 from River Island

I slightly prefer the navy, but thought it was pointless owning hundreds of navy coats.

I think really I would have preferred brown, but its not made in brown

so khaki it is, and I love how it looks on!

It's just so cute!

and its knitted so its super comfy

But I cant wear it yet as I ordered it online 

and when it arrived I found it still had the plastic security tag attached!

I was livvid, what a stupid thing to do!

I've emailed them and am still waiting for a reply,

what am I supposed to do??

And finally I bought this aviator jacket  also from Zara for £39.99

Its lovely on, and satisfies my flying / sheepskin / aviator jacket itch

whilst being quite a bit cheaper than similar ones from topshop!
