New Year: Things I Love

Why hello there,
nice to see you again!
Please excuse my lack of bloggingness,
Christmas retail, means not a lot of free time!
So I thought I'd do a little catch up kind of 'Things I Love' post for you :)

I'm loving:

Orange Hair -
Dyed my hair a lovely shade of copper/orange
and I love it, just wish it was as gorgeous and thick as this girls!

Neutral Eye-Make-Up -
Working a lot means I am really appreciating a 15 minute make-up routine,
including a neutral eye, not as nice as this one though!

Magnetic & Glitter Nail Varnish -
I got loads of magnetic nail varnish for Christmas and I'm loving experimenting with it,
also cant get enough of my Deborah Lippmann glitter polishes!

Pyjamas -
Snuggly Pyjamas ftw :) Got some gorgeous M&S ones.

Christmas Socks -
Whether it's just around the house or peeking over the top of my boots
I'm living in patterned Christmas socks right now.

Biker Boots -
I'm Milly and I'm addicted to biker boots
real leather of course and the more studs  the better

Clashing Prints -
there are so many different kinds of prints I love right now,
galaxy,  fairisle, aztec, navajo, floral, digital, graphic etc
and there is nothing I love more than wearing them all at once!

Rucksacks/Backpacks -
I got the ahmahzing Lazy Oaf Space rucksack for Christmas
and it seems to just go with everything!
I also appreciate that it doesn't fall off your shoulders all the time.

Diet Coke -
I love it, nuff said!

Clinique Chubby Sticks -
Part of my afore mentioned quick make-up look are my clinique chubby sticks,
I have 4 and they add a great pop of hydrating colour

Vintage Scarves -
Whether its tied to my bag, worn as a belt or just around my neck
I love to add a vintage scarf to my outfit, especially chain print ones.

Aztec Duffle Coat -
EEEPP I got this urban outfitters printed blanket duffle coat for Christmas
and I am never taking it off EVER

Snoods -
Chunky knitted snoods wrapped round tonnes of times
make me happy.

Skull Necklaces -
I was also lucky enough to get 2 different skull necklaces for Christmas
and I love wearing them with otherwise demure outfits ;)

Sleeping ZzZzZz -
I love to snooze, nap sleep etc
especially in the middle of the day with a cat by my side!

All Images from WeHeartIt & tumblr, if any belong to you and you want them removed please let me know :)

That is all
thanks for reading lovelies

What Milly Wore: Patterned Leggings

Hey guys, hope your weekend is going well!
Here is what I wore yesterday:

Oversized Black Cut Out T-shirt: Vero Moda (Via ASOS a year or two ago)
Patterned Leggings: Topshop (This Season)

How awesome are these leggings
You've probably guessed that I'm partial to funky legwear by now,
but these are relatively easy to style, just stick with Black and White!

Custom Made Heart Necklace: Clutterfly

Isn't this necklace incredible!
My sister told me about Clutterfly and their amazing customized necklaces
and I couildnt resist buying myself a few!
They can write whatever you like across one or two hearts,
and you can have any colour, glitter or even leopard print!
( I chose J'adore Dior, on white glitter, with a crown obviously lol)
I will do a post next week showing you all the designs I got,
you should deffo go along and check them out :)

Nails: Deborah Lippmann 'Happy Birthday'

I like this nail varnish a lot
O.K so it is expensive, but it's pretty unique!

 Graffiti Backpack: L.A.M.B (via TKMaxx)

I didnt realise how good backpacks are,
they dont fall off your shoulder, and you're left hands free
Brilliant!
I spotted this L.A.M.B one in TKMaxx earlier this year and couldn't resist

Lace Canvas Pumps: Topshop (last year)

I like the way these pumps look ,
but they give me blisters every time I wear them
which is a real shame as I have them in cream too :(

What Milly Wore: Granny Florals

Floral Playsuit: £24 ASOS sale :)

I love this playsuit, it's so gosh darn cute
and in this warmer weather I thought it would be great.
It is lovely don't get me wrong, but there is no stretch in it whatsoever,
so you cannot bend over or sit down without feeling uncomfortable
Looks 10/10 Practicality 5/10

Black Leggings: Topshop

Leopard Hair Bow: Dolly Bow Bow

Now my hair is getting a bit longer I'm trying to do more things with it!
These kind of wire bows are great,
and the Dolly Bow Bow ones are much thicker wire than the high street ones you get,
so  they stay secure much better

Lipstick : Mac Pink Plaid

I cant really remember what other make-up I'm wearing
but the lipstick is deffo Pink Plaid which was a lovely gift from a friend!

Nail Varnish: O.P.I Mad Hatter (Alice in wonderland collection)

Chanel - esque Watch: Sekonda @ Argos (quite cheap as far as I can remember)

Pink Patent Leather Ballet Pumps: Bloch Via TKMaxx £20 ish RRP £100

Have you been enjoying playsuits this summer?

What Milly Wore: Eye of The Tiger

So I'm getting back into the swing of blogging YAY
Heres an outfit I wore a couple of days ago

Grey Cardigan: Revolver (via TKMaxx)
Skull Helmet Vest Top: Allsaints (Sale last year)

Grey Stripe Maxi Skirt: Topshop Sale £15 (Last Year)
Leopard Print Bag: River Island Sale £25 (a couple of months ago)
Ballet Pumps: Topshop £18

Limited Edition White Tiger Necklace: Tatty Devine
Leopard Nails:  Plain Falsies by Kiss from Superdrug, shaped and painted myself

In case you haven't noticed, I cannot get enough of Tatty Devine at the moment
They had a 'Lucky Dip' sale a couple of weeks ago,
and I got some lovely pieces and swapped quite a few via their 'Swap Shop'
I ended up with tonnes of amazing things by them:)
So I'm trying to wear it all, there's no point owning nice things and keeping them tucked away in a box!

Visual Sweets: Decoden Nails

Bonsoir!

Just thought I would show you a little of what I have been up to recently!
As part of my Combined Studies degree (mainly photography)
I have been taking some make-up modules
which I have absolutly adored!

and over the last month or so I've been doing a project on Japanese trends
So below are my attempt at crazy decorated japanesque nails!

I've totally loved doing 3D funky gel nails,
and have learned TONNES

would you ever wear nails like these??
