What Milly Wore: Ecco, Boucle & Horror!

 Hey guys,
I was recently sent these Ecco shoe boots to review,
and I just couldn't wait to wear them.
oooooh look at all their prettyness!

Now as you may or may not know,
I work at a shoe shop at the weekend
so I've heard of Ecco before and was aware they are supposed to be comfy!
However I was not aware of this new fab design.

I love the wet look patent,
and they are just so so versatile.
They are billed as being the most comfortable heel around
and they bloody well are!
I do not do heels, I just cant walk in them
but these were so comfy, I could wear them all day
and they are perfect for the office or wearing out to dinner etc!

I wore my gorgeous patent shoe boots with:

Mirror Black Wings Pegasus Necklace - Tatty Devine

Dripping Horror Print Tee - Topshop £18 this season
I love this t-shirt,
It's exactly the same as my two geek ones,
oversized and typographic!

High waisted jeans - New Look (ages ago)

Black white and gold Boucle jacket: Next Sale £25

(teehee mismatched cupcake socks!)

Over all I'm really impressed,
good quality,
very comfortable,
practical and stylish!

They are available from Ecco, online and instore
and retail at £115

What Milly Wore: Bird Print Bag from Bank Fashion

How gorgeous is this bag??
I know right, such a cute floral/bird print!
I was lucky enough to be asked by Bank fashion to review an item from their website.
after having a good mooch I came across this lovely bag by Paul's Boutique
and knew this is what I had to pick!
Now if your a regular on my blog, you might know that I'm already a Paul's Boutique fan
I own a few of their bags, but to me this one is just a little bit special!
I love the whimsical twee print,
it feels a bit more sophisticated than some of their bags, but still fun.
Here is what I wore with my bag:
Black tunic dress with gold stud detail: Topshop (quite old)
Blue Jeggings: George at Asda (super comfy and cheap too!)
Burgundy Leather Boots: Office (£90ish a few years ago)
Butterfly Print Kimono Jacket: Matthew Williamson @ Debenhams (£15 Sale)
Isn't this jacket cute, it's great for this in between weather,
and the butterfly print is really bright and eye-catching.
I got 4 compliments on my bag today (the first time of using it!)
which goes to show how fab it is!
I will definitely get my use out of it,
its a great size to fit a lot in without being huge.
It was delivered very quickly,
and I just think it's really unique and quirky!
Thanks to Bank fashion for asking me to review it :)

Have you shopped at Bank before?
Are you a Paul's Boutique fan?

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

What Milly Wore: Purple Rain

Hi Guys,
hope you've all had a lovely week
and you're all getting used to the fact that it's nearly February and getting colder!

I was lucky enough to be contacted by Daxon
and asked if I would like to choose an item to feature on my blog.
Daxon are branching into Plus Sized clothing,
so I was interested to see what they had available.
As a size 14, I'm at that awkward size where I'm not quite plus size,
but a bit big for some shops!
But as someone from a family of  *ahem* curvier ladies
I gladly took them up on their offer.

When looking at their website it's easy to skim over and think that it's aimed at a more mature lady,
or that they are not very fashion forward,
but I really would no be so quick to write them off.
I really feel you can take staple pieces such as this jacket and add it to any wardrobe,
you can style up in your own way, give it your own twist if you will.
As I hope I've proved with this post.

The jacket is extremely good quality,
much better than you would find on much of the high street,
I was really impressed with the suedette fabric, it feels really soft and authentic
and I love the faux leather piping too.
It's so well made and is a joy to wear :)

As Daxon go from a size 14-36 I think it's a great place to try
if you are struggling to find great quality clothing
in your size.

In this outfit I Wore:

Purple Suedette Quilted Jacket: C/O Daxon £49

Galaxy Print Grey Cardigan: Asos (a few years ago)

Multi Galaxy Wolf Dress: Motel @ Topshop (also ages ago)

Grey T-Shirt Dress (worn underneath): H&M

Black Treggings: Next £18 (new)

Galaxy / Glitter Print Duffle Bag: Peter Pilotto for Kipling

Leopard Wired Hair Band: Dolly Bow Bow

Future Mystic Small Crescent Gem Shapes Necklace: Tatty Devine

Grey Suede Felix Boots: Kurt Geiger £35 Sale

Fashion Fix: Awesome Aztec & Nice Navajo

I was a huge fan of the Aztec & Navajo prints
that were around last A/W,
but I love the ones this year even more
Here is my guide to the best items I've found:

Aztec Pattern Coat £100 ASOS
Not cheap, but I love the style of it, and it would be lovely and warm
maybe wait for a money off code?

£236 reduced from £592 ASOS
OK so this is a serious investment piece
But if you can afford it go for it, it will last you a lifetime

This is very similar to a leopard print one I bought from topshop last year,
the fleecey lining in the hood is to die for!
I like that the pattern in a little more subdued on this one.

This coat is a bit more unique than the others which I really like,
The colour combination and the fur around the hood make it a bit different

Navajo Blanket Duffle Coat £125 Urban Outfitters
This is probably my favourite out of the bunch,
The prefect combination of navajo, duffle, parka and blanket!

Red & Grey Aztec Print Cape £40 River Island
I bought two aztec capes from Topshop last year
and they are amazing, It's like walking round in a blanket,
very comfy, fashion forward and flattering
especially with a belt!

Woven Aztec Satchel £45 Urban Outfitters
This is a great way to add colour to a plain outfit
I just wish the handles were real leather

I actually found this in the men's section!
don't be afraid stray from women's items when looking for accessories
nobody would ever know!

Printed Leggings £20 Topshop
As you may know I'm not adverse to some funky leggings in my life
And these printed ones from Topshop are great to wear with a baggy t-shirt
and some high-tops, channelling the 80's vibe :)

Grey Aztec Print Leggings £22 River Island
If you fancy something a bit more subtle
this pair in neutral tones are great!

I love these,
they could be really smartened up for a night out with a black vest top,
a pair of heels and a clutch bag!

BDG Printed Rib Knit Leggings £24 Urban Outfitters

These look fab,
great as pyjama bottoms or just lounging round the house
these long john style leggings look so comfy

Thats everything folks,
Please let me know what you think of this kind of post,
as I'm forever finding great items to buy, and cant afford
so I might as well share them with you guys right? :)
